Glide to St. Maarten’s highest point on the Sky Explorer then go flying back down the mountain on the world’s steepest zip line, The Flying Dutchman. Take the Sentry Hill Zip Line over the mountain ridge enjoying the stunning views of beautiful St. Maarten. Then your top-to-bottom tour finishes with the Schooner Ride sending you surfing down the mountain in an inner tube.

Embark the Sky Explorer ride to the top of Sentry Hill, St. Maarten’s highest elevation at 1,125 feet. A series of platforms encircle the mountaintop showcasing 360-degree views of the whole island.

You´ll fly down the mountain at speeds of up to 56 miles per hour on the world’s steepest zip line, The Flying Dutchman. You’ll be attached to a flight line in a secure harnessed chair to experience the ride of a lifetime; after you will enjoy the zipline over the mountain ridge, then you will surf down the mountain in an inner tube, Schooner ride.

Due to high demand, wait times for the Flying Dutchman may be longer than other attractions, especially during peak hours.

Weight range: minimum 100 pounds – maximum 275 pounds.
The Schooner Ride permits only one person per tube. Children must be able to hold on securely at all times during the ride.
No heart problems or other serious medical conditions.

Description Activities

Emilio Wilson Museum

The Museum tells the powerful story of Trace Wilson who was born into slavery and her direct descendant Emilio Wilson. Guests will see depictions of what life was like on a plantation and learn about stories that earned Sint Maarten the nickname ‘The Friendly Island.’
The Schooner Ride

After embarking on the Soualiga Sky Explorer, you will be transferred to the mid-station for the Schooner Ride; where you’ll surf down the mountain in an inner tube through the curves and straightaways of a specially designed track.
The Sentry Hill

You’ll hop back on Soualiga Sky Explorer and glide up to the mountain ridge of Sentry Hill. After your orientation at the transfer station, you will put your safety equipment and harness system for your Sentry Hill Zip Line flight over the mountain ridge.
The Flying Dutchman

The main attraction and the steepest zip line in the world. Guests experience the thrill of a lifetime, harnessed in a chair and launched down the mountain on a flight line dropping 1050 feet in elevation over 2800 ft.
The Soualiga Sky Explorer

Take a tranquil ride up two lifts spanning a total of 2,997 ft. as the landscape unfolds below. The Soualiga Sky Explorer chairlifts are comprised of sixty-eight and four-passenger chairs.
